WHAT TYPE OF EVENTS CAN BE BOOKED AT HAMAKOM?

  • Weddings, B’nai Mitzvah Parties, Baby Namings, Brit Milah
  • Engagement Parties, Birthdays, Holiday Parties, Memorials
  • Conference & Business Meetings
  • Worship Groups, Camps, Theater Groups

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO I NEED TO RESERVE MY EVENT?

  • It is recommended that you reserve your date as far in advance as possible so we can secure your date.
  • B’nai Mitzvah parties should be booked six months in advance to ensure availability. Dates cannot be guaranteed. Please contact our Events & Facilities Coordinator to check and confirm availability.

WHAT IS REQUIRED TO SECURE THE DATE AND VENUE FOR MY EVENT?

  • A signed contract agreement
  • Refundable damage deposit

CAN I HOLD A DATE WITHOUT PAYMENT?

  • Hamakom can hold one date for up to a week. After the week you must either proceed with signing a contract, or the date will be released.

HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN HAMAKOM ACCOMMODATE?

  • Our event and meeting spaces vary in size and capacity based on the various rooms and set-ups desired.
  • Please contact our Events & Facilities Coordinator to determine the space that will work best for you and your needs.

DO I HAVE TO BE A TEMPLE MEMBER TO RENT SPACE?

  • No! Both Members & Non-Members may rent space for any occasion at Hamakom, based on availability. Temple Members receive discounted venue rates and additional member perks.

ARE THE KITCHENS KOSHER?

  • Yes! We offer a meat and a dairy kitchen! Any event using our kitchens must adhere to Hamakom's Kashrut Policies and must use a Hamakom contracted Kosher Caterer.

ARE THERE ANY RESTRICTIONS?

  • Outdoor events must end by 10:30pm. Indoor events must end by midnight*. (*An additional hourly fee will apply for events going after midnight indoors.)
  • Events on Saturday evenings may not take place until Shabbat is over.
